Job Overview:
Software Application Engineer I shall be responsible for the implementation and testing of a variety of software solutions in the product line based on the supplied design. He/She should be able to effectively work within a team of technically strong engineers. Existing Software errors corrections, testing and maintaining the software is an important task of an Associate Software Engineer.
Job Responsibilities :
- Coding and testing program modules that meet design specifications.
- Problem solving & debugging of production software
- Continually updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications
- Complete assigned tasks on-time and in accordance with the appropriate process.
- Use software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, Debugging tools
- Practice Unit Test Automation under supervision
Educational Requirements
- B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in the disciplines of EEE/ECE/CSE or MCA degree or equivalent experience.
- Required atleast 1-2 years of Software development experience in a product based company using several of the skills and technologies mentioned below.
Specific Knowledge and Skills
Candidates should have experience in the following skills and technologies:
- Good programming skills in C++,VC++ / C#.net
- Experience in implementing business logic, GUI and database applications
- Candidate required to have following Process/Tools/Skills expertise
