Age Limit: Candidates age should be 35 years for Unreserved, 37 years for BC-I/ BC-II, 38 years for Women(UR/ BC-I/ BC-II) candidates, 40 years for SC/ ST (Men & Women) as on 01-08-2014.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess M.B.B.S. from recognized Indian Medical Council Medical college.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on Written Test & Interview.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Online/ Offline Mode.
Online Mode: General/ BC-I/ BC-II candidates has to pay Rs.468/- (Rs.400.50/- for Exam Fee + Rs. 17.50/- for Online Application Fee + Rs.50/- for Bank Charges) & SC & ST candidates of Jharkhand has to pay Rs.168/- (Rs.100.50/- for Exam Fee + Rs. 17.50/- for Online Application Fee + Rs.50/- for Bank Charges) through State Bank of India.
Offline Mode: Those who are paying through offline mode they need to download chhallan from the website www.jpsc.gov.in Handicapped candidates (minimum 40% of Disability) are exempted from exam fee but they have to pay Rs.17.50/- for Online Charges & Rs.50/- for Bank Charges.

How to Apply: Interested candidates can apply online through the website www.jpsc.gov.in from 24-10-2014 to 23-11-2014 till 12:00 pm (Midnight). After applying online, take print out of the submitted online application form, signed on it and send along with self attested copies of relevant certificate, etc, enclosed in an envelope super scribed with “Application for the Post of Medical Officer Advt No.02/2014″, should reach through speed post/ registered post/ by hand to Jharkhand Public Service Commission, Circular Road, Ranchi-834001 on or before 08-12-2014 till 05:00 pm.
